Ultimately our mission is:
To fulfill Christ's directive given in Matthew 5:13-14. He said, "You are the SALT of the Earth," and "You are the LIGHT of the World." We Desire to be SALT and LIGHT. We want to make a difference in our world, and shine the light to those searching for the truth; so that, as Jesus said, "They may see your good deeds, and praise your Father in Heaven"
We exist to honor God by... Showing God our love through spiritual, honest worship. Accepting those searching for forgiveness and spiritual truth. Loving all People by meeting the practical needs of those around us. Taking the Good news of Jesus Christ to our community and world. "You are the SALT of the Earth" |
We will accomplish this by... Learning to worship together in truth. Inviting others to experience forgiveness, develop a relationship with Christ, and find a place in God's family. Growing in the knowledge and love of God. Humbling ourselves to servanthood by giving our time, effort, and money to meet the needs of others. Training ourselves in discipleship by learning God's word, and developing our spiritual gifts for service. "You are the LIGHT of the world" |
